FOR YOUR
EYES ONLY
1981

There are several highlights amongst the stills of 1981’s For Your Eyes Only. These include singer Sheena Easton filming the title sequence with designer Maurice Binder (25 August 1925 – 9 April 1991) and some behind the scenes images of ski sequence supervisor and photographer Willy Bogner and Roger Moore (14 October 1927 – 23 May 2017) on location in Cortina D’ampezzo. These stills illustrate that Moore did not ski independently while filming these stunts. There are also promotional images of the Lotus Turbo Espirit seen  on location in Cortina and in Vatonies in Corfu. Interwoven with the behind the scenes and promotional stills are shots of the production crew and cast playing backgammon. Roger Moore and Producer Albert R. Broccoli (5 April 1909 – 27 June 1996) were known to play the game between takes. On this film it appears that perhaps Mr Broccoli was loosing as evidenced by Moore’s clapperboard: ‘Cubby now down $114,000’! Stills photographer credited as Keith Hamshere. Graham Attwood photographed the second unit. Special thanks to Robbin Young for sharing her photos of the shooting in Cortina D'ampezzo.
